Rubber baby buggy bumpers

When your team mate has some gnarly old school downhill tires for you to put on your race klunker , meeting for tacos is the thing to do. Then spending the rest of the day riding around looking insane. Ludicracy at the back of the pack ARrrrrrrr

Rigid and Single

I love the simplicity of a rigid single speed mountain bike. It's always a challenge, and even in my 60's, I see constant improvement in my endurance and bike handling skills by continuing to test my abilities on the local single track.
After years of not wearing a watch I liked the look of this titainium Swiss army watch so much I got one. I expected it to be as rugged as my 17 year old Black Sheep 26+. Yesterday I hit a local single track loop hard, bombing through the 3 inch sharp rock chatter with no regard for how hard it was hammering my arms, I'm used to rigid bikes. Well my " rugged" ti watch had the pins in the band shook right out and when I stopped for a drink of water, I noticed my watch was gone. Two miles of back tracking on foot and there it was, on the trail, not a mark on it. Life, ain't easy at the back of the pack.

Klunkin ain't easy

Now, I'm not going to tell anyone else how to dress when riding a bike, especially my my team mate Crash. He does have that name for a reason. I do suggest, no matter how much you are into grounding that you wear shoes when wall jumping a klunker. Just a suggestion mind you. We think he will regain full use of his foot.

32x Magic

My OG Black Sheep 26+ was a 3X8 drive train. Good old standard. But, with its short wheel base and 3" tires it jus begged to be a single speed. With  vertical dropouts it was find the magic ratio or use a dangle, chain tensioner. I want simple an clean looks, so found the magic at 32X21 ☠☠☠ARrrrrrr

Talisman

Talisman, a good luck charm, protection from evil, or in the case of these little images, something that brings forth a positive emotional reaction/inspiration.

Copper juju at the back of the pack

Since in 2017 I spent all my time riding bikes and drinking local beer, it occurred to me that I now need to have some cash flow. With a bad ass Mone bikes El Continente frame inbound, I need parts. So cranked the copper headbadge making. I'm too full of insubordination to go be an employee, and I need time to ride.
